Buckinghamshire Council Domestic Abuse Strategy Survey
Tuesday, October 5th, 2021
The Domestic Abuse Act became Law in April 2021. Tier One authorities such as Buckinghamshire Council must prepare and publish a local strategy based on a robust needs assessment, the first of which should be published by 31 October 2021.
Buckinghamshire Council’s draft strategy outlines 4 priority areas
- Priority 1 – Early Intervention and Prevention.
- Priority 2 – Effective services that meet the needs of victims and their families.
- Priority 3 – Tackling perpetrators to reduce reoffending.
- Priority 4 – Supporting professionals to make a difference.
The survey is very simple, asking whether these are the right priorities, and for any other comment.

The consultation closes at 23.59 on 13th October.
