Operation Gauntlet anti-Scam Campaign

Saturday, February 16th, 2019

Below are details of two meetings to be held on 5th March by Thames Valley Police in conjunction with Trading Standards and Chiltern and South Bucks Community Safety Partnership, to advise on current scams and how to avoid becoming a victim. Venue is the Council Chamber, Chiltern District Council, King George V Road, Amersham HP6 5AW. There is a choice of times: 4-5.30pm, or 7-8.30pm.

All will learn from this event. Even for those of us who consider ourselves sophisticated and careful, there are invaluable insights on how we can help look out for others.

This is part of ‘Operation Gauntlet’, an anti-scam campaign which launches on Monday 25th February. We shall publicise details of other events as they become available and encourage everyone to try to come along to one event at least.
