Chiltern & S Bucks Policing Issues Forum 5th April 2023

The Chiltern & South Bucks Policing Issues Forum met on Wednesday April 5th.

Ahead of the meeting, we held our customary survey, which attracted 582 responses. We thank all who contributed to such a robust response.

Responding to residents’ feedback, we made changes to the survey choices. We are making the link between what residents tell us, the resulting choices of Neighbourhood Policing focus areas, and outcomes as measured by published crime stats, easier to explain and monitor. This means streamlining the survey choices. The results should remove the confusion of including categories which are mainly the responsibility of organisations other than the Police.

The rationale for these changes, including categories which have been dropped, is explained in detail on our Neighbourhood Surveys page.

Based on the survey and discussion at the Forum meeting, three focus areas for our Neighbourhood Policing teams were set for the coming 4 months, as follows:

  • Serious Acquisitive Crime
  • Speeding
  • Drugs
