Chiltern & S Bucks Policing Issues Forum 29th November 2021

Chiltern & South Bucks Policing Issues Forum met online on Monday 29th November.

Thank you to all the residents who contributed to a well attended and informative meeting, which continued the useful narrative built between residents and Neighbourhood Police.

In addition to the Neighbourhood Policing updates, residents heard from Local Policing Area Commander Supt Emma Burroughs. Based on the concerns expressed in the survey, we also focussed on the new arrangements for Community Speedwatch, and pushing back against the scourge of Fly Tippers. Thank you in particular to David Rounding, Head of Waste Enforcement at Buckinghamshire Council, for attending. We also had an update on the putting together of the Rural Crime task force.

Whilst some Community Board Chairs attended, unfortunately for a number of reasons not all Board chairs could be present on the day. However following the meeting focus areas for Neighbourhood police over the next 4 months were agreed as follows:

  • Serious acquisitive crime
  • Speeding
  • ASB

Minutes of the meeting will be posted when available.

Thank you to all residents who responded to our survey before the meeting. Your responses helped inform discussion. Below are the headline results of the survey and various resource relevant to the meeting.
